Visiting fellowship call: 2026–2027 cycle

The visiting fellowship call for the 2026–2027 cycle is open. It runs for six to twelve months and is open to academics and practitioners alike.

We want to underline applications from practitioners in particular. The question brought by someone working in a municipality, a port operator or a ministry unit is usually sharper than one arriving from the academic agenda; during the fellowship we work together on framing that question so it can be worked on with data.

The programme provides workspace, access to infrastructure and support with accommodation. Salary support is considered according to the situation of the sending institution.

What we expect in an application is not a project outline but a definition of the question you want to work on, and why you want to work on it here. Applications with no connection to the centre's infrastructure or its running programmes are not suited to this call, however strong the subject.
